What does this mean?

Hello Tracey,

I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,

Considering the photographs, overall pattern, knot density and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Painted Franklin Heirloom Porcelain Victorian Style Christening Doll. The piece dates back to the period from 1985 to 1990. The piece consists of a Victorian style dressed porcelain doll as well as a Royal Dalton Porcelain baby rattle and a pillow. The rattle is decorated florally. The rattle has a musical movement that plays Brahms' Lullaby. The dress of the piece is trimmed with a white satin ribbon accompanied by hand tied satin bows. The piece has a serial number and this serial number is hand apllied on the piece's neck. The piece is a limited edition. The Franklin Heirloom Dolls are creating this limited editions by giving each type of pieces 45 days of production and then ending the production of the mentioned series. The piece is in it's original box and it is in mint condition, never removed. The piece is collectible but not highly sought after in the market at this time based on the current market conditions. The piece is in good condition without visible problems.

Entirely hand painted porcelain doll.

Dimensions: 45 Centimeters of Length and 60 Centimeters of Length of the whole piece with the dress.

Condition: The piece is in good condition without visible problems.

Provenance: Inherited, the current owner's father bought it for her mother.
