Tiffany’s hanging lamp with flame design.
My grandmother owned it before me. Unknown any other details
Hi Kiersten,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The late 19th Century stained glass lamps and windows of Louis Comfort Tiffany inspired many different companies to make shades and lamps well into the 20th Century but this is not made by Tiffany. It may be marked by the maker (and if it is, likely on the upper rim) please let me know so I can include that in the appraisal and reassess the value.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Art Nouveau style slag glass and brass octagonal chandelier lamp
American, probably 1950s
Of octagonal section with nipped pointed-tip top, the shouldered body with stylized flame decoration, shaped lower rim.
15 inches tall, 22 inches diameter
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition.
PROVENANCE: inherited
$100-150*
