This is a heavy, hand-blown art glass vase featuring a striking silver foil crackle design throughout. The pattern resembles pulled leaf or flame-like forms, encased in clear glass with a high-gloss finish. The base has a polished pontil, indicating studio craftsmanship. The piece is unmarked, but its style and quality are consistent with mid-century Murano glass, possibly from studios like Mandruzzato or Campanella.

Hi Kiersten,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
While the majority of Mandruzzato's (including ones made by Campanella) vases have a similar appearance, they usually have a more textured feel, rather than a smooth cased surface.
This looks to me to be an early (but not quite as early as MidCentury Modern) vase by Mocenigo, a studio known for offering live demonstrations of glassblowing to visitors, which is common among Murano studios, particularly those that cater to the tourist trade.
In a fair-market situation, unsigned vases of this size and shape are likely to sell for between $150 and $250 at auction.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A modern Murano studio art glass and foil vase,
Manner of Mocenigo Glass Factory, Murano, Italy, late 20th/early 21st Century
Of circular section and tapered at both ends, in a silver/black overall palette featuring a diamond-grid design. Unsigned.
Height: 10-1/2 inches tall
