What does this mean?

Dear Ruth - Greetings and thank you for submitting images of this contemporary oil on canvas panting to Mearto. This is a modern reproduction of the 17th century painting depicting "The Children of Charles I" by Sir Anthony van Dyck, (b. 1599 - d. 1641), the original can be found in the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (http://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O133294/the-children-of-charles-i-oil-painting-anthony-van-dyck/).

van Dyck's portraits remain popular and reproductions are offered at public auction a couple of times every year; based on their decorative qualities, similar canvases usually achieve between $400USD and $500USD. If you have any follow-up questions, please let me know.

Most Sincerely,

Erin-Marie
