Antique secretary desk, was handed down to by my aunt who recently just passed away. She was an antique dealer, owning her own shop in campbellville and then in Burlington, Ontario. This desk is an upright secretary desk, with a hinge top that's slanted, it also lifts, the legs are pretty detailed, the top is got some detail around the front part of it. Part of it almost like a little wall, the front of it has shelves about three of them that go all the way down to the floor. There's quite a bit of detailing, I believe it could be a white oak or maybe an ash. Ash would maybe like Maple or walnut? I'm not exactly sure. It's very light wood and it doesn't seem to be too too dense, but I'm basing that off the age. I can't seem to find a stamp anywhere on it, although I haven't looked greatly for it. I have never seen anything like it or any other desk that resembles it?
Not sure but if Id have to guess .... 42 inches in height by 28/30 inches wide?
