Hi Amber,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This type of doll - with glazed porcelain head - is commonly referred to as a "China Doll" and probably has a cloth body with glazed and fired head but unglazed (bisque) porcelain hands (and probably legs?). There are lots of these on the market at the moment, most are not worth very much (typically less than $50, particularly the smaller ones)
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An antique China doll
Continental, late 19th/early 20th Century
With molded glazed and fired porcelain head with black hair, eyes and features, and bisque hands, wearing a linen bonnet, linen and lace overdress, brown woolen(?) dress, linen pantalettes, and black (feet or shoes, I can't tell from the photos, but probably painted porcelain feet). A hanging loop attached to her back. Unmarked.
8 inches tall
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: inherited
$30-50*
