Wingback chair, probably French. No label so manufacturer is unknown. It has mahogany arms and legs. The arms are have rolled back carving at the front and similar carving under the wings. The front legs have drape-like carving at the top and paws at the bottom. The back legs are uncarved. They currve at the bottom to a round foot. The upholstery is peach velvet. It has faded on the back and sides. There is a 2" tear on the lower left side.

Over-the-frame upholstered in peach velvet, the back with flaring "wings" over flute-carved mahogany stiles continuing into scrolled terminals and conical arm ends, the D-shaped seat with serpentine front edge, raised on two cabriole front legs and two down-curving rear legs. Unmarked.
