It is 9 in tall with a 3 in mouth and 3 1/2 Base . Painting showing probably a Mother with her daughter reading a book over a table . There is a very slight chip under the rim

What does this mean?

This appears to be a chinese porcelain vase decorated with enamel colours, depicting two court ladies seated at a table, inscribed 國色人間次喬家獨得準 (?) with artist seal 陶 tao and "san" and one illegible, with a four character Qian Long Nian Zhi imitation mark, in the manner of republic period porcelain but mid 20th century, one chip on the rim. The estimate is based on similar sold at auction.
