I bought this Rambouillet tapestry from ABC Carpets NYC in the 90’s. It has a label on the lining stating its title and details such as its composition- linen, wool, and cotton. I believe it is in excellent condition. There are metal hooks to hang it on the wall. The label was loosely affixed, and fell off. I am afraid to glue it back on. It was adhered with some kind of adhesive I can tell.

Hi Zarema,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The label translates to:
"Art Editions of Rambouillet / Workshops for the Reproduction of Artworks/ Subject: Grotesque August/ Museum: Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna /Period: 17th century /Starting from the original Belgian tapestry, our master craftsmen painstakingly traced point by point, for many months, the designs intended to be woven on looms. Woven by hand using traditional methods, in wool, linen, and cotton, the totality of the ancient tapestry’s texture, modeling, and grain was faithfully respected in the reproduction, with dimensions carefully controlled.
The colors were re-created by successive applications of oil paints, by approaching the range of tones used for the restoration of very old tapestries. Touch-ups were done by hand to achieve the most subtle nuances and the patina that gives the whole reproduction of an ancient tapestry all its value."
The Éditions d’Art de Rambouillet workshops were a French firm active mainly in the mid-20th century that produced high-quality decorative reproductions of historic European artworks—especially tapestries. Their labels typically read “Ateliers de Reproduction d’Œuvres d’Art – Made in France” and cite the original subject, museum, and period (as on your example referencing the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna).
While I haven't been able to find another exactly identical tapestry, others by Rambouillet Workshops of similar size and vintage have been bringing prices at auction recently ranging from $2,000-3,000
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
