Was given to me for free. Previous owner bought the house and it was there when they got it. Just wanted to get rid of it.

Good afternoon, Josh,
Thank you for using Mearto for your appraisal inquiry. This is a great example of the kind of Colonial Revival furniture popularized by Wallace Nutting at the end of the Nineteenth Century; unfortunately, these are selling for very little auction these days – typically just a few hundred. If you’d like this appraisal to include dimensions, please forward them to me at your convenience.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Hepplewhite Style mahogany glazed bookcase cabinet
Alliance Furniture Company, Jamestown, N.Y., 1905-circa1950
The recessed upper section with outset molded cornice over two glazed cabinet doors opening to a shelved interior, the lower section fitted with a long drawer over two cabinet doors, all raised on straight short bracket feet.
[dimensions]
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition commensurate with age and use.
$ 300-500*
*Represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
