Antique Chinese Ink Press Board
This piece measures 17" long x 8" Tall x 1" thick, is in great shape, no breaks or missing pieces.
This tablet was purchased from a Baldwin family estate sale 25+ years back.The Baldwin family is very well known in Maui, they arrived on island in the mid 1800's and practically started all agricultural from there on out. This piece has been in a private collection since the estate sale and is now open to the market.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a chinese hand carved book printing block. Those are quite common, as it was the standard printing technique until the late 19th century. Printing blocks are being offered and sold at auction. The estimate is based on similar sold recently.
There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
