Inherited from family in Italy (was brought over by mother years ago) so likely vintage. Assembled glass pendant and light fixture measures 12 inches high and 6 inches wide. The glass is in perfect condition but the metal shows signs of age and rust. The wiring is rubber insulated.

These pressed or molded opalescent or milk glass shades were made in great quantity, both in the US and overseas, from the mid 19th Century to the mid 20th Century. They would in all likelihood have been made in larger groups, with consumers purchasing sets rather than individual lights. It's rare to see these come to auction as single-lamps but when they do, they usually range in price from $50-75 each.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

unattributed maker, American or European, circa 1920-1940s
Of circular section and acorn form, the opalescent white shade with stylized foliate decoration and blue detailing.
