A nearly identical painted plaster bust of Beethoven attributed to Hugo Hagen (1818–1871) sold at auction for $100 in 2014; it had carried an estimate of $100-200

Plinth signed indistinctly
26 inches high; base 11 inches wide, 11 inches deep
