H:4” D:10” porcelain
Private collection from Sebastopol CA
Dear Philip,
What you have here is a Chinese bowl made for export to, most likely Europe, in the late 18th century ( Chienlung period ). The Peony flower is well done and and eye catcher on the bowl. Its a big bowl and interesting for collectors and businessman. You can sell it easy if you would like to; market is very good for antique Chinese porcelain. Be aware a hairline crack, hard to see sometimes, devaluates quite strong. If you find one crack the value of the bowl drops with 30 to 50%.
Yes.
Is Chienlung the same as Qianlong?
