60cm x 90cm, not an exact replica, ornate gold painted frame
unknown
Dear Jessica,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the apprisal.
The presented object appears to be a painting in oil or acryl on canvas with measurements of 90 x60. This painting was made after the famous painting with the title "Blue Boy" by the British artist Thomas Gainsborough (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blue_Boy) around 1770. This copy was made in the second half of the 20th century probably in China.
This piece is in good condition and there is a loss of color because of light damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 150 to 300 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
