What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a japanese Inban transfer printed bowl with a few washes of blue colour painted by hand. Such dishes were meant for local people, these dishes were inexpensive and for daily use. The blue and white design is very decorative, but the demand for japanese porcelain is rather weak currently. The bowl is approximately one hundred years old.
