Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. I apologize that the previous appraiser did not complete this appraisal in a more timely manner. I suspect the delay stems from the inability to find a match to the name provided "Carlos Marenco"; I also did not come up with anything substantial in a search of either artist databases we have access to or a Google search but there is an artist who signed his paintings "Carlos" whose works are offered for about $250-350 each at auction.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

Italian School, 20th Century
Two rural Italian town landscapes
oil or acrylic on canvas
one signed "Carlos" lower left, the other signed "Carlos" lower right.
each 15 by 20 inches
CONDITION: both appear to be in good condition; values assumes no in-painting, relining, restretching and lack a screening varnish.
PROVENANCE: inherited
each $250-350 or $500-700 for the pair*
