Hand painted designs. Very heavy. Originally purchased in Hong Kong by parents in mid to early seventies.
We were living in Hong Kong after moving from Thailand. Too young to recall who they purchased it from. Father spoke fluent Mandarin and was active in Chinese local society.

An antique Chinese polychrome and black lacquer double-sided six-fold floor screen
late 19th / early 20th Century
The black lacquer ground profusely decorated with birds in landscapes, the front with a floral border.
Each panel 72 1/4 inches high, 15 7/8 inches wide
CONDITION: appears to be in excellent condition commensurate with age.
PROVENANCE: purchased in Asia by client's parents in the 1970s
