This appears to be a chinese watercolour, dated 12th lunar month of 1980, signed and with an artist seal 班超拙 墨 ( ban chao humbly painted?), apparently a depiction of the first century legendary general Ban Chao. I couldn´t find any information on the artist unfortunately. The artist clearly studied chinese art and his brushstrokes are very accomplished. The colours have faded a little, a new acid free cardboard backing should replace the old one. The estimate is based on similar watercolours by lesser known artists offered or sold at auction
