The spoon I have appears to be sterling (or fine) silver. It is 7 inches long and has 2 Phoenixes on it with some floral embellishments. It has a larger Chinese stamp and a smaller one, but the smaller one (which I believe is the makers mark) is too fades to make out properly. Here are pictures of the spoon and marks. I would love to know anything about this spoon:
I don’t know anything about this spoon.
Dear Brittany,
You have a lovely silver spoon made by Wang hing & co from Hong Kong, China. The makers mark is translated: Wei De zhe. I could not find any more information about this artist but I think it is not that important. Phoenix is very attractive als decoration and that makes the price a little higher then the usual Wang hing spoons I think. My estimation is based on pieces from same quality and maker in pervious sales.
