Frank W. Benson "Migrating Geese" etching
The title is not printed on the etching, but from research, I believe the title is "Migrating Geese." From a previous appraisal I was told it is paff 106, published in 1916. Written in pencil at the bottom: 29428 / 13 / 12 Signed by artist in pencil On back there is a printed mark CTB paper size is 14 1/2 X 11 1/2 etching size is 8 x 10
I bought this at an auction and was told it was from a private collection from a professor at Amarillo College which is a college where I live in Amarillo, Texas.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. There is very little to add to all the information you already know. It is indeed a drypoint etching by Frank Weston BENSON (1862-1951) from 1916. The last time identical prints were offered was approximately twenty years ago. The estimate is based on similar prints offered or sold at auction recently. There is a good chance that the print in your possession could fetch a higher price than the high estimate listed above if offered in a well advertised auction.
