This is a vintage, 20th century, original 34" x 30" painting by listed American artist, Frederick J. Hoertz (1889 - 1978) who is know for marine, ship and coastal scene paintings. It is signed at lower right and dated 57, for 1957. This depicts a coastal seascape scene with heavy waves crashing on to the rocky shores with a light house in the distance.
