This vase was made at the "Alfa-Sigma" pottery studio located in Maroussi, Greece, in the late 20th Century. There have been a few pieces that have surfaced in the American market - all on EBay - where they are listed for about $40.

Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A vintage Alfa-Sigma cobalt decorated stoneware cylinder vase
made in Maroussi, Greece, late 20th Century
Of circular section and cylindrical form, the body with striated bands and depicting a dove with branches. Signed to the underside.
6-1/2 inches tall; 2-1/4 inches diameter.
CONDITION: This vase appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: Inherited
