This is my mother’s dining room set, these are some of the details I remember from when we first got it in the early 1970s: It was made-to-order and purchased in China. Hand carved from a teak ship. 6’ round table. Bar top inserts jade. Table + 8 chairs + cabinet + bar=11 pieces total. Two of the chairs have broken legs that require repair.

A single-pedestal dining table centering a pierced inset landscape medallion and raised on dragon feet
A set of eight side chairs with paneled splats, circular seats and stylized hoof feet (two in need of repair)
A bar cabinet with hinged spinach-jade inset double top over two cupboard doors with landscape decoration opening to reveal a divided interior
and
A tall glazed cabinet with four glass-paneled doors over four paneled cupboard doors with applied decoration.
PROVENANCE: inherited from parents who had this set custom-made in China in the early 1970s
