This appears to be a chinese dinner service with coral ground and flower decoration, according to the backstamp manufactured in Jingdezhen, the center of chinese porcelain production. The design was applied by transfer printing and a little painting by hand. It is a very attractive china set, someone who misses a few pieces of the same and needs a replacement might be willing to pay more than the high estimate.
