Dear Boby,
Sorry, it has taken so long to reply to your inquiry.
Here is what we can say about your work:
This is a preparatory painting in oil of a scene of three men on horses with a church or monument on the right-hand side of the composition, probably in Paris. It seems that it was executed during the second half of the nineteenth century. Several damages are visible throughout the canvas, especially around the edges with several scratches.
Unfortunately, without any artist's name nor any other key information related to this work, the value of this oil is low. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of similar "unfinished" works from this period.
Best regards,
Karine
