Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a chinese porcelain plate of current production, trying to imitate japanese Imari export porcelain of the 17th century. The plate´s design closely copies dutch themed porcelain with black ships and various dutch men in 17th century dresses depicted in the japanese manner. The underside bears a 萬里 Wan Li mark, deep machine inflicted scratches and an artifical bitumen patina trying to imitate an age the plate does not have. This is basically a home decor item of decorative value. A plate without the imitated patina would have had a decorative value of less than 200,- Euro
