Hi Ken,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Many of Isidore Bonheur's sculptures were cast by his brother-in-law Hippolyte Peyrol, who did not stamp all of his castings but the ones that are stamped bring more money - double or more.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
Isidore Jules Bonheur (French, 1827-1901)
Horse and Jockey, nd
bronze, on a marble plinth
signed to the base
32-1/2 inches tall; approximately 36 inches long
CONDITION: This statue appears to be in good condition

Good morning, Ken,
The casting mark is quite small and would most likely be somewhere on the base (possibly even underneath, between the bronze and the marble base. You can see examples of the mark at this link: https://www.sillafineantiques.com/francois-auguste-hippolyte-peyrol/.
If you see the mark, please add a photo and let me know so I can update the value.
Thanks, Delia

I added a few more photos but did not see the mark you were referring to. Is there somewhere in particular I should look?
