Thank you for your request. The presented object is a painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurements of 40 x 50 cm. It depicts a landscape with a pond and a fisher sitting with his back to the viewer. The painting is signed in the right corner by Jack PIETERS (1886-1977). He was a South African artist who mainly depicted landscapes and still lifes and painted in an impressionistic style. There are many objects of this artist on the market and they are sold in auction houses in South Africa.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 200 to 400 USD.
