About 3 feet wide by 4 feet high, painted on wood.
Inherited from great aunt who traveled the world, and her parents also traveled the world. I do not know who purchased it, or where this paining came from.
Thank you for contacting Mearto. This is a large Chinese painting of an emperor or official with floral and cloud motifs. It is hard for me to tell by the photograph, but usually these kinds of paintings are ink on silk. Chinese emperor portraits are typically centered and frontal with a seated figure. I have included a link below to an example at the Met. It is difficult to give a date for your painting, but it is likely from the 20th century or late 19th. The Fair Market Value of paintings like yours is between $300 and $500. I am also including links to examples of similar paintings that have sold at auction.

I see. It's unusual, but the value should be the same.
Thank you
Thanks for your appraisal. My art work is paint and maybe ink on a hard surface ( wood? ).
