This means also that an object should not just be adapted to the highest hammer prices and you also have to see the mid-range and low range hammer prices to define an adequate estimate.
Often such objects are offered on the primary market to very high asking prices which can not be reached on the secondary art market.

Thanks for your appraisal details. I thought that maybe this piece would go for more since the same piece (but only a reprint) is being sold for over $1,000 currently. Can you help me to understand how this works? Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
