The item was originally purchased by my Grandmother at an antique store in New Zealand over 90 years ago. Its origins are believed to be English. The tilt top has now been fixed to the base and there has been restoration work done over the years. The table is in good condition and is well looked after. There are no marker marks that are visible although there is an "A" on the table underside.

Hi Amy,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This breakfast table was made during the reign of George IV (circa 1820-30) walnut breakfast table is a fine example of early 19th-century English furniture, reflecting the Regency to early Victorian transition in design. These tables were designed for elegant morning dining and often featured high-quality craftsmanship, rich veneers, and classical influences. The hinged top would have been folded up and placed against a wall when not in use, or, if it were owned by a very well-to-do family, would have occupied pride-of-place in a breakfast room where it would have been used for intimate family-owning breakfasts. It is wider than a tea table - also of round hinged top form - and has very finely carved scrolled feet. The "A" on the underside of the table is probably a cabinetmaker's reference mark and doesn't denote maker or pattern.
Most George IV breakfast tables that come to auction usually sell for between $500 and $1,500 depending on the complexity of the design, etc. Yours has a fair-market value of $800-1,200.

Hi Amy,
You might look up local estate sales in your area, or see if one of them can recommend some place that sells furniture. Unfortunately, I don't know any in your area to recommend...

Thanks Delia - much appreciated.
Thanks so much Delia - can you advise what the best option is to sell the table? We live in Orem Utah so it is not an easy item to ship ! Thanks
