40"x50" landscape on canvas, possibly acrylic, edges not straight like a giclee, but rather irregular. There appears to be a textured gel, over painted with the actual highlights, so the gel is interwoven, not applied as a final varnish. Signed only "Andrew". This may be around 25 years old, no date on back, only numbers
Purchased on Kijiji, hung in the woman's grandparents house for her whole life. She was around 25.
Dear Erica,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The presented object appears to be a print on canvas with the measurements of 40 x 50 inches. The print depicts a landscape and is signed with the name "Andrew". This print was made in a sort of silkscreen procedure as we can see at the detail of the stones. Andrew is highly possible a nom de plume and this print was made in the last third of the 20th century for decorative purposes.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 20 to 40 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
