I believe the vase is porcelain. It is about 21” in height and 15” at its widest. Looks to be hand painted - nine peaches design - and based on marking on bottom I believe it is Qianlong time period/style. Inherited from my grandparents.
Not sure. I believe they purchased it vs. inherited.

Your vase is indeed Chinese and marked with the reign mark of emperor Qianlong. Its made in later in second half 20th century. So its not an antique unfortunately. Model is called Globular vase and the name of the vase is called peach vase.These vases were original made in the Qianlong period and are sought after. There are many later, good quality imitations made up to today. Because of the size and the nice painting I think the decorative value is around the estimate.
