Are you still working on my art? anything to add?
Roger Hinwood
Please note I had added more photos per your request.
Dear Roger,
Thank you for the additional images and your patience. regarding a technical issue, the new pictures were not displayed immediately. I am sorry for the late answer.
The presented object is a painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurement of 21 x 18 inches. It depicts the head of a bearded man. No attributes or similar details are visible. Stylistically this painting dates into the 17th century but could also be made at the beginning of the 18th century in Spain or Italy. Highly probably this is a detail or study after an archetype because of some weaknesses in the presentation of the details and anatomy.
This piece is in medium condition and there restored damages visible.
An estimation would be between 1000 to 2000 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
