The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurements of 26 x 23 1/2 inches. The painting depicts an Italian village scene with a church and a red chariot. In the background, we see the coastline and a second village. The architecture and the streets are decorated probably for a holiday or wedding. This painting was made and is signed by the Italian artist Luigi DE ANGELIS (1883-1966). It was probably made in the first half of the 20th century.
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
