Have been in our family since at least since the early 1900s. Came to me from my mother, who inherited them from a great aunt in Scotland.

What you have here is a pair of famille verte statues made in China in 19th century. Famille verte is a color palette with green, yellow and sometimes blue pigments. Details of the faces are really well done and also the painting overall is of good quality. This type of objects are sought after at the moment. The Chinese antiques market is very good. I take the small damage in consideration with my estimation.
