What does this mean?

A pair of Chinese Canton export porcelain famille rose vases, decorated with court scenes, birds, butterflies and foliage, production date most likely Guangxu (1875-1908) period. The certificate mentions the "Chen Long period", referring to the Chien Long / Qianlong (1736-1795) period which was a century earlier. The size of these vases is exceptional, very few similar pairs have been offered or sold recently. The estimate is based on similar vases sold at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
