This is some type of painting/drawing.
Was owned by my Sister who collected Japanese art.
Dear John,
Thank you for your help and your patience. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.
The presented object appears to be a Japanese woodblock print in colors a so-called ukiyo-e with unknown measurements. This woodblock print consists out of two sheets and shows two warriors standing on a bridge. We see a young and elegant dressed Samurai and a bearded elderly heavily armed warrior. This print was probably once made out of three sheets. The Japanese characters just name the persons and sadly not the artist. This print was made in the middle of the 19th century in Japan.
This piece is in bad condition and the paper was fixed with a varnish or glued on another paper which sadly nearly devalues this artwork.
A fair market estimation would be between 0 to 20 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George

Did that.
George I sent four additional pictures of the characters on the drawing.
