Colors: mostly green with some orange, brown, black pinting on the figures of people and dragons (i think). 2 porcelain/ceramic vases 8-3/4" high, at widest point, 14-1/2" around; neck of the vase is 4-3/4" around. There are small holes throughout the lower part of the vase. Cannot read the marking on bottom, it is in Chinese. Mother-in-law purchased these when she took a boat from San Francisco to China in the late 1930's.

What you have here are Chinese Sancai porcelain vases made late 19th century. Sancai means three colors although some of them have four colors ( in later times ). Chinese art has a lot of interest and this type of porcelain is sought after. You have some nice wooden feet with them that helps in making a better price. Estimation is based on the price this vases can make in an auction or sales room.
