Bought as part of a storage unit auction. It’s perfectly preserved in its original box wrapped in its original tissue/packing paper. It has a tiger scene painted (I assume) on one side and a deer scene on the other. I have tried to research it myself with zero luck so any and all help is greatly appreciated!!
Was found in a storage unit we purchased in auction.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a 1970s anodized metal and translucent lacquer painted chinese paperweight in the shape of a deer / tiger. This was inexpensive kitsch produced mainly for the Chinese taste and market. The estimate is based on similar sold at auctions. A serious collector might be willing to pay more than the high estimate.
