Left in house I purchased. Some Damage but functional. I think someone added the light to it. It does work.
31 inches wide, 77 H and 16 inches deep at base
Hi Christina,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I can't make out the label to see if there's a maker's name but most of these Colonial Revival secretary bookcases don't bring very much at auction - usually less than $500 these. If you can read the label and want send me the name in a comment I'll update this accordingly.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Colonial Revival Federal style walnut desk and bookcase
unattributed maker, mid 20th Century
With broken swan's neck pediment above a pair of mullioned and glazed cupboard doors opening to a shelved interior, over a slant-lid writing surface opening to a divided interior, over three long drawers, all on a bracket base. Labeled to the back.
Height: 77 inches; width: 31 inches depth at base:16 inches
CONDITION: In fair cosmetic condition but functional.
PROVENANCE: Acquired with a house purchase
$300-500*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.

Hi Christina,
I'm surprised the 2006 Walnut label didn't identify the maker
Otherwise, maker's labels are usually in discrete places, like the inside or underside of drawers, the back of the case or even on the underside of the bottom.
If you see anything let me know; otherwise this appraisal can stand as is.
Have a great day,
Delia
Where is the label usually with the makers name? The label I took a picture of say no. 2006 walnut. I have to look more closely.
