carved from teak wood about 18 inches tall, teeth are ivory
over 40 years ago, while in Zurich, Switzerland, a friend of mine gave me this beautiful carved mask of the head and face of a Chinese man. It was over 100 years old back then.
This is an early 20th century, Asian carved wood mask of a bearded man with inset bone or ivory eyes and teeth, These were made as decorative wall art for export in both China and Japan. They are often catalogued as carved rosewood and is more likely such than teak. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
Ok but it does not give me a way to do this.
Please add an image of the backside of this too.
