An antique Chinese carved and giltwood wall panel
late 19th or early 20th Century
Depicting several tiers of figures, animals and architectural elements, inset in an ebonized shadowbox frame with teak(?) mat. Backing is contemporary multicolored paper.
15-1/2 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide; frame approximately 21 inches high by 10 1/2 inches wide
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition; frame is not contemporary to the piece
