What does this mean?

This is a late 20th century large sized painting that was done by in the Aboriginal art style from Australia. The painted dots are a hallmark of Aboriginal art and the images are visual depictions on their stories that were passed down by oral tradition. This painting appears to be unsigned and an attributed artist is not mentioned. In general, artworks tend to sell for less on the re-sale market than when initially purchased from the primary gallery. If considering insurance, then the original $2000 purchase price would be the benchmark. The sale estimate is based on actual recorded past auction sales of comparables.
