This is a painting done by Fumio Mizuno. He was a Japanese artist that lived in Ethiopia for over 25 years adding Dire Dawa and Harar. In 2013, the insurance value was appraised at $12,800. He was well known for capturing the beauty of Ethiopian women. This painting itself is 48 1/2 inches wide by 28 3/4 inches tall. With the frame, etc. It is 56 1/2 inches wide and 36 1/2 inches tall.
It has been exhibited in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and was bought by a family member from the artist and left this painting to me.

He chooses mainly scenes from Ethiopia and the images its long-lasting history for his art.
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the Japanese auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
