This undated oil painting appears to be by the Hungarian artist Erzsébet Bauer ((1897 - 1976). It still life painting signed "E Bauer R" on the lower right edge. Sight 16 1/2" (h) x 21 1/2" (w). It is housed in a gilt frame and appears to be in excellent condition overall.

After checking our records, it seems that this particular artist is rarely offered on the auction market, and the most recent auction result that we have is for a painting sold in 2019 in Hungary. Therefore, the estimate highlighted in red has been based on the following criteria:
