Original, signed painting by Artist Juan SE Archuleta. The gallery auction tag contains the following info: Miner's Gallery Americana Corporation Carmel, CA 93921 Artist: Archuleta Title: Mt Diablo G.A.: 50167 Size: 23 x 29 Price: 1850
This painting hung in the living room of my Grandmother's house in Walnut Creek, CA for as long as I can remember back which is 6 yrs old in 1980. My grandmother died in 1994 and the painting went to my parents who hung it in their living room until 2004 when they divorced. My father kept the painting from 2004 until July 2021 when he passed away. The painting became mine by way of inheritance July 2021. Given the timeframe of the artist's career and my memory of the painting dating back to late 70's / early 80's my guess is that my Grandma was the one who acquired it at the gallery auction as per the tag on the back.
