Dear Dave,
Thank you for the additional information and your patience. The presented objects are two paintings made in oil or acrylic paint on board and both have the measurements of 28 x 79 cm. The landscape format painting depicts a wide view over the river Thames and the city of London. The upright format depicts two standing figurines in the middle of the scenery of poor houses or ruins and this could be interpreted as a scene of World War II. Both paintings are signed by the artist Edward M. ELLIOTT (XIX-XX) and made in the second half of the 20th century.
Both pieces are in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation for each would be between 100 to 250 GBP.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
