The artist must have received some training and might have studied at an academy. Such paintings were quite popular in the 1960s and were produced by Vanguard Studios and similar companies purely for home decor. Unfortunately the artist "Peal" is not listed, it might be just a pseudonym or the name of a female artist who later married and changed her name. The estimate is based on similar paintings by lesser known artists offered or sold at auction.
